Fringe lampshade
Flea markets and thrift stores are great places to find vintage lamps. The trick then becomes what type of lampshade to place upon them.
We gave these 1940's lamps a shabby chic look by taking chainette fringe and dipping it into bleach to create a faded, aged look. We took a purchased lampshade, cut away bottom part of shade 3/4" from top, glued on the chainette ringe then trimmed off with Chinese braid. A DIY that will shed new light onto your room!
